Appointment Information
Please read the following information before your first appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Please give at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, or you may be subject to a cancellation fee.
ACUPUNCTURE
Please come to your first appointment 10 minutes early to fill out the intake form. It will give you more time for the session itself. The first part of the initial acupuncture session is dedicated to a Chinese Medicine diagnosis. The diagnosis is done by taking the pulse, examining the tongue and through a discussion about your condition.
Please see a physician if you have a "new condition" that wasn’t diagnosed before coming to acupuncture treatment. With Balance Method Acupuncture you do not need to remove your clothing. For your privacy please bring or wear loose pants that you can roll up to the knees, and a shirt that you can role the sleeves up to the elbows.
RECALL HEALING
It is very important to fill out the Recall Healing questionnaire prior to the session, regardless if your session is online or in the clinic. The questionnaire is extensive and it will take some time to complete (approx. 1 hour). You may need to consult with some of your family members to better answer the questions. Don't worry if you can't answer everything - just do your best.
You will receive a questionnaire form sent to you via email from the clinic after your booking. Please note that the adult questionnaire and the children questionnaire are different. Recall Healing is done through conversation. We recommend bringing an audio recording device (or mobile phone) to record the meeting for your own private use.
